The Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Czech node of the European ALMA Regional Center (EU ARC) are seeking a candidate for

        Research associate – ARC node researcher/developer

Main responsibility: Successful applicant shall work on further development of the Solar ALMA Observing Mode. The main goal of the research under the contract will be to explore the possibilities of achieving solar observations with more extended ALMA array configurations and to identify their limits. The research will be performed within the ESO ALMA Development Study “Towards High- resolution Solar ALMA Images: Overcoming current ObsMode limitations” and in line with the Statement of Work (SoW) for this project. Work progress will be reported to ESO in regular intervals.
